I have always told stories, whether those I told my little sister when we were children or later, through my music, lyrics, and scripts. Now I write books. You’ll find me parked in my study with a beautiful view of Southeast Texas, creating stories whose characters try to navigate their worlds, sometimes against formidable odds.

 My career began in music, having taught middle school, high school, and university. My music crescendoed to the entertainment industry where I wrote songs, lyrics, and scripts for celebrities and entertainment parks all over the world, including Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and Universal Studios Japan.
